The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has been declared a national emergency by the President on March 13, 2020, and a public health emergency by the Secretary of Health and Human Services on January 31, 2020.
As a result, and until further notice, in addition to departments and agencies of the federal government, Allsteel’s GSA Schedule may now be utilized by state, local, and tribal governments for COVID-19 related procurements.
Under the Disaster Purchasing Program, any state, local, regional, or tribal government, or any instrumentality thereof (including any local educational agency or institution of higher education) is authorized to buy from Allsteel’s GSA Schedule for purchases that are being used to facilitate disaster preparation, and response or recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
