Some of our new programs include:
- Furniture solutions for health care settings and pop-up health-care facilities, including tables, privacy screens, and patient and provider seating options
- New custom products to meet urgent needs, including hand sanitizer stands, and employee separation screening
- A quick-ship program that allows furniture products to arrive just days after being ordered
- Work-from-home products to support companies and teams that have shifted to remote work
In alignment with guidelines provided by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), we have taken active steps to protect our members' health and well-being.
By adjusting our members work locations, reorganizing the physical layout of facilities, increasing the frequency and depth of routine cleanings, and using our manufacturing capacity to produce masks for members, we are doing everything possible to structure for social distancing and keep our members safe, including:
- Having members work remotely if their job function allows
- Members who are sick or showing any symptoms of illness are required to stay home
- High-risk members are protected by moving them to remote work or personal leave
- Social distancing of 6 feet or greater is encouraged
- Support CDC guidance that members wear face coverings in public places and areas where social distancing is difficult to maintain
- Encourage healthy hygiene, especially frequent hand washing for at least 20 seconds
- Cleaning routines and sanitation methods of HNI facilities and member workspaces have been increased
- Group gatherings of more than 10 are prohibited
