Developed in partnership with Wolfgang Deisig, founder of the Berlin-based studio Deisig Design, Lyric is a comprehensive offering that will include task, side and multipurpose chairs. Available in a wide range of options, the Lyric product portfolio will provide an appropriate seating solution for every type of space and activity while maintaining a consistent aesthetic throughout the workplace.

The Lyric task chair, the first product in the collection to be introduced, is intended for use at workstations or in conference rooms. It is available as a mid-back or high-back chair, in standard or large-and-tall sizes, as a stool and with or without arms, which can be fixed or adjustable. The task chair is offered with a choice of three mechanisms for optimizing ergonomic support and personal comfort: basic synchro, enhanced synchro-tilt or weight-activated controls.
The task chair is available with a mesh back; a fully upholstered option will be added later. Lyric’s multitude of choices, including six mesh colors, a variety of seating upholsteries from fabric to leather, and two frame finishes, allows a company to make a serious statement with subdued tones or to strike an upbeat note with bold combinations of mesh and upholstery. “Because the chairs retain a unifying family resemblance under their individual personalities, it’s possible to design a workplace that moves seamlessly between more formal and more casual spaces,” said Wolfgang Deisig. “Lyric gives companies a way to signal corporate culture and employee value, which helps attract and retain the people they want.”
The stackable multipurpose chair has a polymer shell and is available with four legs or a sled base; optional casters or glides make for easy movement. Lightweight and clean-lined, the multipurpose chair adds to the Lyric collection’s functional and aesthetic flexibility, as will the side chair when it is introduced later this year.
