Chicago, IL. June 1, 2023 – Allsteel, a leading workplace furnishings brand, has left an indelible mark on this year’s Design Days, the industry’s largest annual gathering of 40,000 interior designers and vendors. The highly anticipated unveiling of Allsteel’s new Chicago-Based Experience Center located in Fulton Market has set a new benchmark for collaboration, design inspiration, and forward-thinking workspaces.
The Fulton Market District has quickly become Chicago’s preeminent design destination, making Design Days the key moment where the architecture and design community come together. With over 450 dealer appointments to a bursting rooftop happy hour, Allsteel’s expansive 24,000-square-foot Experience Center took center stage this year. The dynamic space encourages collaboration, and is a destination for education and inspiration, providing a tangible sense of how Allsteel’s products are designed to do more.
The Experience Center marries an updated showroom with a model office space drawing from organic elements and bringing residential features into the workplace to promote employee wellness, productivity, and retention. A key feature of the Experience Center is the programming space, named The Pebble Garden, aptly named after it was engineered to resemble Chicago’s Iconic “The Bean.” It is tech-enabled and designed by the most innovative minds in interior design, meant to feel reminiscent of a home living room, an intimate space for collaboration and conversation.
“The Allsteel Experience Center serves as a physical manifestation of our brand values. Just ahead of Design Days, Allsteel unveiled their brand refresh of ‘Designed to Do More’, and that is exactly what this space is,” says Natalie Murray, Director of Brand + Partnerships of HNI. “We designed it to foster collaboration, serve as an educational hub, and ignite inspiration and with over 30 interactive spaces, it provides a tangible showcase of Allsteel's commitment to innovation and the power of design to elevate the workplace experience.”
The reveal of Allsteel’s Fulton Market Experience Center during Design Days was just the beginning as the space is set to be a hub of continuous activity and innovation, promising an array of exciting developments in the near future.
