Chicago, IL. July 8th, 2024 – Allsteel welcomed attendees of this year’s Fulton Market Design Days to its Experience Center, where it presented The Intentional Office, highlighting how Allsteel’s products enhance high-value activities for in-person, hybrid, and remote teams. Allsteel featured a comprehensive collection of products and a refreshed floor plate.

The Allsteel showroom buzzed with activity as dealers, designers, clients, and media gathered to experience one of its newest collections: Admix, the new light-scale table system designed by Chris Adamick. The Admix “playground” allowed guests to interact with the tables and reconfigure settings on the fly, demonstrating the product’s adaptability for collaborative and meeting spaces. Admix was awarded a 2024 Interior Design Magazine HiP award along with the Architizer’s A+Product Awards Popular Choice in the Contract Furniture Category.
At the heart of the Experience Center is the Pebble Garden, which housed the brand’s sustainability gallery. Material, Product and Process highlights included the O6 chair, which does not use adhesives and is fully recyclable at end of life, and a new collection of Gunlocke Stratawood veneers, which are efficiently milled from rapidly renewable trees to double the output when compared to traditional wood veneers.
Allsteel’s 'Tell Me More' podcast, which features insightful discussions on innovative workplace solutions, kicked off Fulton Market Design Days with an exclusive preview of the Allsteel Experience Center in Chicago. The ‘Live from Fulton Market Design Days’ mini-series welcomed industry experts to discuss the significance of the intentional office framework.
Partner brands, including Normann Copenhagen, Corral, Zilenzio, Gunlocke, HBF, and HBF Textiles, were showcased throughout the space. Partner brands HBF and HBF Textiles received two HiP awards and one MetropolisLikes award. The Normann Copenhagen Mat chair, made from highly renewable, durable hemp and eelgrass, was awarded a 2024 MetropolisLikes award.
