Further, Allsteel’s agile office system that includes surfaces, supports, screens and storage, becomes even more agile with the addition of Further Adaptive integrated height-adjustable workstations.
“Sit-to-stand solutions are increasingly in demand in today’s health-and-wellnessconscious workplace,” said Mitch Bakker, owner of Michigan-based studio IDa Design, who developed the new component with Allsteel. “Further Adaptive adds the ability to mix—and retrofit—height-adjustable with seated-height workstations anywhere, anytime without compromising Further’s existing concise kit-of-parts and ease of reconfigurability. In short, Allsteel’s customers can benefit from the system’s exceptional flexibility and experience integrated height adjustability.”
Easy to retrofit, with 70% of parts retained, Further Adaptive supports multiple configuration possibilities: height-adjustable and fixed workstations can be beamconnected or freestanding and support linear-bench, perpendicular or organic applications. Rectangular laminate worksurfaces are available in 24-inch or 27-inch depths and 48-inch to 72-inch widths. They integrate seamlessly with Further’s signature power hub system in which electrical distribution to individual workstations is concealed in the beams while data is routed through a hidden streamlined beam-mounted wiremanagement system. Height adjustment is made via an electric control.
