(MUSCATINE, IA – June, 2017) – Allsteel Inc., a leading office furniture manufacturer, announces the addition of several new colors and patterns to its textiles portfolio. As part of an ongoing commitment to deliver increased value and convenience to customers and dealers, the company is significantly expanding and rethinking its overall textiles and finishes offering. Begun with introductions last July and January, the portfolio’s continuous enhancement has not only broadened the number of standard and partnership fabrics available but has also given the collection a more coordinated palette and cohesive point of view. This makes it easier for customers and dealers to find and order exactly what they need.“We have done more than update and expand the collection,” said Kandice Tjebkes, Product Portfolio Manager for Textiles and Finishes at Allsteel. “Working with leading textile designer and product developer Marilyn Geller, we have given a strong sense of direction and coherence to the colors, patterns and textures. The portfolio will be reviewed and added to every six months to ensure it reflects the latest market trends and innovations while retaining its coordinated character. By closely managing the lifecycle of the entire offering, Allsteel will be able to provide an enhanced experience for our customers.”
The latest additions to Allsteel’s standard offering include eight new colors to the In Season pattern of solution dyed nylon seating fabrics, together with nine colors to Etch and eight colors to Exchange, which are both panel fabric patterns. New partnership offerings include four seating patterns in wool or wool-nylon from the renowned Danish manufacturer Kvadrat, represented by Maharam; and seven new leathers, five of them metallic, from Edelman Leather.
These producers represent just two of Allsteel’s distinguished partners, which also include HBF Textiles, Stinson, Carnegie Fabrics, Momentum Textiles and Ultrafabrics.
“All partnership textiles have been tested and approved for Allsteel and other HNI Corporation products,” said Tjebkes. “Not only are they completely integrated into our order system, making them as easy to specify as our standard offerings, but they also form an essential part of the palette inspiration kits with which we introduce designers and clients to the possibilities of the Allsteel textile portfolio.”
